The client’s vision was to extend and completely renovate their home to create a modern, light-filled living environment with enhanced flow and functionality. The design needed to balance contemporary aesthetics with bespoke detailing throughout.
As both main contractor and fit-out specialist, we oversaw every aspect of the build and interior execution. Our role ensured tight coordination across all stages—from structural works and services to final finishes.
The in-house joinery team delivered a full suite of custom interiors, including kitchen, cabinetry, storage, and feature elements. Working alongside ADP, we created a cohesive design throughout that emphasised clean lines, quality materials, and natural light.

We have been back in our house following the renovation now for 20 months and it is everything we hoped for and more. Working with our architect and Sophie and Mark has made it such a wonderful home with so many additional features that we would never have thought of without their help and advice.
Smithsons were such a great company to work with, and all their tradesmen were very professional, polite and extremely competent making us feel we were always in good hands.
Sophie particularly has an eye for making something special with her suggestions which included the mirror above the bath, the mirrors in the kitchen, the tiles in the downstairs shower room and the bathroom top. These created a ‘wow’ factor which has been admired by so many people. We still love to show people round and are so proud of our new home.
The process of the build was completed in 8 months and involved a complete refurbishment to the whole house amd outside area. Sophie and Mark were always there to sort any concerns or issues we had, and we would highly recommend them. They were efficient during the process and with all the follow up work and have been happy since completion to support where needed.
We now love living in our house and having the open bright and wonderful outdoor, indoor space created by it all being on one level and the bi-fold doors bringing the garden inside. It is a truly wonderful space to share with all our family who live close by. Four generations come and go and enjoy what has been lovingly created by a wonderful team of people who listened to what we wanted and gave us all of that and so much more besides.
